About Waldorf Steiner Education Association (Singapore)
The Waldorf Steiner Education Association (Singapore) (WSEAS) was registered as a not for profit organization under the Registry of Societies in Singapore in April 2003.
It was initiated by a few families from diverse cultural and ethnic background and who all have shared interests in educating their children using the ideas and methods provided by the Austrian Philosopher, Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925).
The aim of the WSEAS is twofold:
- to promote Waldorf education and pedagogy in Singapore and
- to promote the wholesome and balanced development of the child through providing educational activities such as drawing, baking, painting, story-telling, wood-working, creative play in an environment that allows creativity and imagination to unfold.
